    My 2nd Costway Freezer

    I got my second Costway 58 Qtr., Freezer Refrigerator, and put it together, two days ago. After letting it sit upright for the recommended 3-6 hours, I plugged it in and gave it the MAX, Freezing Temperature test. I didn't time it so much as I wanted to know if the compressor was going to work well or not. It did not disappoint me. Checked on it after a few hours of working and it had the done the job. Interior temperature was below freezing and the compressor, was cycling off and on all day as it needed to maintain the temperature. So far, the only difference between my first one, now 18 months old and this one is that this one seems to be a little bit noisier. One other difference I noticed, is that the lid on the new one is a lot harder to open, than the old one, when it was new. I actually had to turn the F/F off, and let it sit for a while before I could get it open. ON the good side it keeps everything cold, on the bad side, my wife has to ask me to open it for her. Can't wait for my next camping trip, so I can load it up with our food, while I keep "my" drinks in the older unit. I highly recommend, and have done so many times to all that give me their ear... Thanks for keeping the cost low, so more people can enjoy this great product.

    This unit is well built, quiet, and cools down super fast! It stays in the back of my wife's SUV so she can buy groceries anytime without hunting ice. Very handy and practical for us.

    Power plug

    All is great! I wish the manual was a little better with explaining C And F and how to set, but minor. The power plug is NOT integrated inside the case of the cooler. It is susceptible to being hit and accidentally unplugged. There is no way to lock it in. This would be a great addition to this product.
